Being out in nature has its own set of benefits.
People who spend time outside:

  • Are less irritable and less angry
  • Are less anxious
  • Are more focused and interested in things
  • Have more feelings of pleasure
  • Feel more confident
  • Do better in school


As you get older

Exercise such as walking can keep your mind sharper and also protect you from getting depressed. It even gives you some protection from dementia, a condition of brain deterioration that can come later in life.
