Walks in Cuba

St. Francis of Assisi Park Walking Trail:
1 mile loop dirt path at the St. Francis park, flat.

Southern All Around loop:
Caution: walking on roadways.
5 mile loop from St. Francis Park on asphalt, some inclines.
From the park;
Hwy 126 between the park and Southern All Around Road;
Southern All Around Road between Hwy 126 and County Road 11;
County Road 11 between Southern All Around Road and Hwy 550;
Hwy 550 between County Road 11 and Hwy 126
Hwy 126 between Hwy 550 and St. Francis Park.

Cuba Independent School Campus:
Up to 3 miles of dirt trails on the Cross Country Course, inclines.
1 mile paved road loop around school campus, some inclines.
1/4 mile rubber track around football field, flat.

County Road 13:
Caution: walking on roadway, cattle guard crossings.
*X* miles on asphalt from Cuba Independent School Campus, some inclines.

School Road:
Caution: walking on roadway, cattle guard crossing.
1.5 miles on asphalt then dirt from Cuba Independent School Campus along
School Road.

Village Loop:
1/2 mile loop dirt path with resting bench from Cuba Library parking lot,
flat. (1/8 mile short cut to Bird watching bench)

County Road 11:
Caution: walking on roadway (most of the way it is possible to stay off the
road, on the east side along the fence line).
1.25 miles on asphalt or dirt from the US Forest Service Offices along
County Road 11 to the Sandoval County Fairground, some inclines.

550/197/Cubita/Miera loop:
Caution: walking on roadway, cattle guard crossing.
2 mile loop on sidewalk and asphalt, flat. Jump on anywhere:
Hwy 550 between Miera Road and Highway 197;
Hwy 197 between Hwy 550 and Cubita Road;
Cubita Road between Hwy 197 and Miera Road;
Miera Road between Cubita Road and Hwy 550.

Los Pinos Road:
Caution: walking on roadway, cattle guard crossing
5 miles on asphalt then dirt from Hwy 550 along Los Pinos Road, some incline

Places To Go – Other Venues in Cuba

St. Francis Park:

Play areas: Slides, swings, sandbox, climbing structure beside the Eichwald
Center; Big sand doon at the southeast corner of the park

Basketball hoops on aspalt, one each on the east and west side of the
Eichwald Center.

Baseball Dimond

Little League Softball Dimond, summer only.

Other Venues at St. Francis Park still to be developed (there will be
more after our park master plan is finalized.): Full size basketball court
on the west side of the Eichwald Center.

Swimming Pool:
